Wanchungenerator set exhaust purifier

 For diesel exhaust emissions of soot particulate pollutants (PM), Hebei Hanlan developed Wanchun ZDF and FDF series of purifiers can effectively reduce emissions, has been a number of domestic mechanical and electrical equipment supporting.

 Wanchun ZDF and FDF diesel generator set exhaust purifiers can reduce the soot produced by diesel engines by more than 90%, and replace the secondary muffler. The main filter material of the purifier is DPF soot particulate filter (i.e. DPF ceramic filter element), and the trap is a filter installed in the exhaust system to capture particulate emissions before they are discharged into the atmosphere. Among them, the particulate emission substances captured by the purification muffler of FDF generator set can be regenerated in the normal operation process of the unit to achieve the purpose of continuous work and avoid the trouble of manual cleaning and regeneration.

 Diesel particulate trap (DPF) adopts porous cordierite material that can be ventilated, and the filter ceramic carrier is composed of many fine parallel channels; these parallel channels are separated by porous pore walls, one end is open and the other end is blocked. The pores in the filter pore wall allow the exhaust molecules of diesel engines to pass through, and the black smoke particles cannot pass through the pores due to their large particle size. They are filtered on the surface of the ceramic pore wall to eliminate black smoke. DPF has a relatively high filtering effect on soot particles (PM) and black smoke particles, generally more than 90%.

DOC Precious Metal Oxidation Catalyst

 For the treatment of CO and HC compounds, Hebei Hanlan selected DOC precious metal oxidation catalyst. Although soot in PM is difficult to oxidize by it, it is very effective in oxidizing soluble organic matter (SOF) in PM. The main purpose of oxidation catalyst (DOC) is to reduce particulate matter (black smoke) and harmful gases emitted from the engine. The removal efficiency of particulate matter (PM) is about 20%, and the purification rate of harmful gases (CO, HC) is about 75%-90%. DOC type purification device looks similar to muffler, can be easily installed, no need to modify the engine, just simply replace the muffler in the original exhaust system. Wanchun DOC basically does not need maintenance for a long time, only requires periodic inspection.

DOC purification efficiency and characteristics 

 For NOx treatment, Hebei Hanlan adopts Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) denitration technology. It is a process gradually applied to flue gas denitration of industrial boilers and power station boilers since the early 1980s, and it is also one of the most widely used and effective flue gas denitration technologies in the world at present. This technology is basically used in most power plants in Japan, Europe, the United States and other countries.

WanchunSCR denitration system

 Wanchun SCR denitration system is an equipment that uses reducing agent urea to decompose and hydrolyze into ammonia (NH3) in flue gas pipeline, and NH3 reacts with NOx under the action of catalyst to generate non-toxic nitrogen (N2) and water. It can meet the domestic emission index requirements for NOx. It has the advantages and characteristics of safe and reliable operation, small occupation area and high denitration efficiency. It is widely used at home and abroad.

SCR denitration system reaction principle

Urea decomposes as follows:

(NH2)CO + H2O = 2NH3 + CO2    

Urea is pyrolyzed and hydrolyzed to produce ammonia, which provides raw materials for the reaction.

NH3 reacts with NOx as follows:

          4NH3 + 4NO + O2   =  4N2 + 6H2O

          2NH3 + NO + NO2   =  2N2 + 3H2O

          8NH3 + 6NO2       =  7N2 + 12H2O

 Our company uses high efficiency denitration molecular sieve catalyst mainly iron base molecular sieve and vanadium base denitration catalyst. Equipment use and maintenance

• Installed on the exhaust system near the engine exhaust port to help keep the catalyst at a suitable working temperature;       

• Install back pressure meter at air inlet to detect exhaust back pressure of main engine in real time;

• Exhaust port with automatic emergency bypass valve, when the purifier failure occurs, bypass valve automatically open to ensure safe operation of diesel engine unit;

• Clean diesel oil should be used. If the sulfur impurity is too high, it will cause catalyst poisoning, increase fuel consumption and even cause engine flameout.

•When the exhaust gas purifier of Wanchun generator set works, the dust removal process is controlled by electromagnetic valve in order to achieve the purpose of regeneration and cleaning. The purging time and interval can be adjusted and set.

• Ash deposit in ash bin needs to be cleaned regularly. Remove small bottom cover to clean ash directly.

•The exhaust purifier of Wanchun generator set is designed to be disassembled, and the side cover plate can be removed for maintenance. The side cover plate is fixed by screws. After maintenance, it is installed once, and the side cover plate is pressed tightly. The work is finished.
